Q: You are a young teenager and we know the market of consumers like to read sex, drugs, basically drama over the top sometimes, and I notice your book is about a young lady who becomes what her father was, How do you relate to these characters at your age?

A: How do your parents feel about the types of story you create do they feel it is too violent due to gangs, drugs, and sex? GOOD QUESTION! I did not write about sex in the Daddy's Legacy Series. With me being only 15 at the time, I didn't feel comfortable, let's say that without putting my business out. My father does NOT like the idea of me even cursing. So I know he would not like the sex. On the other hand, my mother understands that it's the characters that are doing these things not me. I wasn't allowed to read regular books until I actually put out my first book. My parents weren't having it. My mother has many books and I was NOT to touch any. Now my father has come around a little bit more. Mom is ok and understands. It's a book. lol

Q: Do you write hoping to inspire your peers on the brighter picture of life is there a moral to your stories?

A: Yes, I write to show other teenagers my age and sometimes older or younger people that no matter how old you are you should always fight to live your dream. Nothing should stand in your way of what you love to do. All of my books have moral and life learned lessons. Mostly that everybody deserves a happy

ending no matter what they went through in the past.

Q: How did you become to publish your own stories and who help you to do that?

A: The original plan wasn't for me to start my own publishing company. I was signed to the company that published my first series and my contract was to do three books. Things didn't go too well after those three books were done. Because of how they published my three books I didn't want to do another contract with them so I decided to do things on my own. That is when they started ripping me off and I would be glad if I got 30 dollars from them. With the help my Mother and Aunts, who are also the owners of Purple Diamond Publications, we got it done. I won't bash my old publishing company because they are part of the reason why I am doing the thing I love the most but they taught me a lesson. I am glad this happened to me at a young age instead of it happening further down in my writing career.

Q: So, you owned your own publishing company and have any other publishing company reach to you?

A: Yes, I own my own publishing company but no one else has reached me to do anything with them. But if it comes to it then I will be glad to because I want to expand my horizon and my writing career by doing books with other people that I am not too familiar with. It helps me learn new things.

Q: Have you ever thought of taking your books to the next level by creating a movie?

A: I have thought about turning my books into movies. When I graduate high school I am going to school to study film making. I want to become a movie director so I can do it myself.

Q: I read that you use to write your stories as plays before you learn how to write them into book form do you hope to one day go back into writing plays?

A: Yes, I have to finish these unpublished books first. Then I will try to write a play.
