St Mary’s was formerly the family chapel but is now run as
an Anglican parish church. It sits within the gardens, next
to the Castle, and can accommodate up to 100 people.
Katherine Parr, Henry VIII’s last wife, is entombed in
the church, the only queen of England to be buried in a
private residence, and many other kings and queens have
worshipped here in their time.

Sudeley is also licensed for civil ceremonies, which are
