Let’s be real. As a woman entrepreneur it also means that we wear many hats. I am a wife, mother, student and full time employee. I am also running two other businesses as a Health Coach and an Organic Farmer. So, that means I am tired at times. The question now remains, how does one find their rhythm while embracing their roles, and still ensure proper health & wellness?

Here are a few tips I have learned along my journey that I hope can help you fellow women entrepreneurs .

1. Stop polluting your body. Yes life is meant to be enjoyed. However, think of it this way. You service your car to enjoy it at its fullest, right? So, why not do the same for your body? Learn to be moderate in what you eat and drink. Excessive and uncontrolled over-indulgence leads you down a path to bad health habits, which gets passed on to our kids. Yes, at times it is easy to grab a donut and coffee, but if we schedule our time, we can start meal prepping to ensure we have some healthy options handy.

2. Stop trying to be perfect. There are times we will need to seek assistance to get things done. Learn to ask for help when necessary. And, remember people won’t know unless you speak up.

3. Control negative emotions and thoughts. The same energy you use to think of the bad (we say, "Gosh I’m such a bad mother / wife because the kids ate cereal two days in a row!" or "The house isn’t super clean!") can be used towards being grateful. I'm not saying you won’t have bad days. I'm saying just don’t stay there. Learn to forgive yourself at times and let go. Know that you are doing an amazing job!
