Try the following five-day challenge to start incorporating gratitude in your life. Once you start to see the positive results, resolve to practice it regularly.

Day 1: List the things that you are grateful for

The first day of the challenge is a simple task. Grab a journal or a plain piece of paper and list ten (10) things you are grateful for. They can be small things or big things. Just anything that leaves you with a feeling of gratitude. For instance, you may feel grateful that you have great friends who support you in everything you do, and family that loves you, even at your worst. Make a list and share it on your social media accounts to spread the positivity. It’s contagious!

Day 2: Exercise and Meditate

The second day of the challenge includes exercising and meditation. These practices promote your general wellbeing and help keep you mentally and physically fit. Start a fun workout routine or go for a morning walk and notice how refreshed and positive you feel after the exercise. Meditation gives you some time alone with yourself and helps to bring peace to your inner self. Try some yoga exercises or practice a meditation routine that will help you have a positive outlook on life.

After this second day, you will notice that you are feeling much better about yourself and your life seems more positive and refreshed.

Day 3: Decluttering

Another important step in this challenge is decluttering the space in which you live. If our spaces are cluttered and clumsy, it can be hard to find anything, and that frustration often leads to negative feelings about yourself and others. It can also lead to a negative outlook on life. This third day of the challenge is set aside to clear out your house, and place everything in an orderly manner so that whenever you are looking for something, you find it quickly and avoid all the negativity. Managing your space leads to a clean, welcoming home, which will further develop your feelings of gratitude.

Day 4: Create your Own Inspiration board

Inspiration plays an important role in being grateful, and an inspiration board can be a great way to remind you of it. An inspiration board is a collection of images that represent the goals that keep you motivated. This is a remarkable way to encourage feelings of gratitude about the things you have achieved and are going to achieve in life. Day 4’s challenge is to create your own inspiration board. Here are some quick, easy steps to do it:
