Continuous Learning is a Mandatory
Learning is a never-ending process. Successful people know this and make deliberate efforts to add to their knowledge. There is a plethora of resources available to help all types of learners gain new knowledge. There are eBooks for the readers, audio books for the auditory learners, and video tutorials and courses for the audio/visual learners. Spend less time scrolling through Facebook and more time engaging with informative content.
Relationship Building Must Be a Priority
...even for the introvert. This is one of the areas I struggle with. However, I know that it’s something I must work on if I want more opportunities. Opportunities don’t just roll out of bed and knock at your door. You must put yourself out there so that your door can be found. I highly recommend reading Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People”. That’s the relationship-building bible!
This doesn’t mean that you should encourage negative relationships. As stated earlier, successful people have no place for negativity. Only positive vibes roun’ here! Surround yourself with like-minded people who are progressive and respectful towards both themselves and others. Build healthy relationships.
