With so many choices, what makes BellaChic Luxe the
place to find “The Dress”?
The personalized service brides receive at BellaChic Luxe is what
makes it the go-to destination to find “the Dress.” Every bride is
afforded the unique opportunity of having the owner or one of
our knowledgeable consultants assist them in a ultra-private setting.
Our standard is to allow just one bride and her guests in the boutique at any given time. This allows our bride to receive our undivided attention for an unparalleled experience in a non-pressured
environment. We are committed to ensuring that her gown-buying
process is a first class experience. There is no charge for this exclusive service. It is completely complimentary as is our mimosa bar
which is always a welcomed bonus feature.
What should a bride do to prepare for her bridal
appointment?
To prepare for an appointment at our boutique, we suggest arriving
10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This time is used
by to get to know more about our brides. It also allows us to discuss
your vision in-depth. We only ask that our brides keep an openmind and have fun. Everything else falls into place. Having photographs of designs are generally very helpful in determining which
direction we pursue as well.
What is a trunk show and why is it beneficial?
A trunk shows is the perfect opportunity for a bride to experience a
designers full collection. Most boutiques will
carry a select number of sample gowns. However, in a trunk show you have many more options in which to choose from. For that reason,
it is very beneficial as there may be silhouettes
and designs that are not typically available.
Inviting the mother-in-law to the bridal
appointment: yes or no?
Inviting your soon-to-be mother in law can be
a wonderful idea. So we are #teamMIL. If a
bride feels that she will benefit from her opinion in a positive way, we highly recommend it.
The more, the merrier!
I found “the one”! Now what?
Finding “the one” is definitely a momentous occasion. After you’ve found the one, you will want
to place your order. Our gowns take anywhere
from 5-8 months to be delivered so we highly
recommend doing so as early as possible. Once
the gown arrives from our manufacturer, we will
call you immediately to come in for your 1st fitting. There is nothing more for you to do at this
point other than tackle your wedding planning
to-do list!
How do you handle a bride, who has no
idea what she wants in a wedding dress?
We love working with brides who know exactly what they are looking for in terms of dress.
However, the unsure bride holds a special place
in our heart. We generally start out by looking
through the showroom to identify styles that suit
her personal style. We also pull a few that she
would have never selected for herself because,
you just never know. Encouraging our brides to
keep an open mind and have fun with the pro-
cess is our single most effective approach.
What advice would you give a newly engaged bride about how to begin her gown
selection jourey?
Wedding gown shopping can seem overwhelming due to the myriad of options. We advise
newly engaged brides to start slow by perusing
bridal magazines and Pinterest. Most often, the
time of year and even the venue will narrow the
choices on what will work best. For example,
sheaths and simple A-lines lend themselves beautifully to a beach wedding. Of course, the next
step is to secure an appointment with a reputable boutique for a fitting.
Who should a bride bring with her when
she comes to her brial appointment?
We tend to see all size bridal entourages during
a scheduled appointment. Since our boutique
is exclusively private, we have no restriction on
size. However, we do highly recommend inviting
people who will give you positive constructive
feedback. It’s also a great idea to have those who
will make the experience a fun one. We all know
who those p eople are in our lives.
