DJ Precise, continued from page 35 SM: So now we are on to style! DP: Oh man, my favorite! SM: You get to model for us and you get to do a catwalk. DP: I’m a little behind on fashion I’m not going to lie. I am a little behind on fashion. But, I try! SM: Who would be your favorite designer? DP: You know what, I am a very basic person so I am going to give you a very basic answer. I will rock Nike gear. I love Nike gear; it is the most comfortable stuff. So, anything Nike, honestly. I will rock to the club, on the radio, in my house; so, I rock with Nike. SM: So Nike would cover clothes and shoes? DP: Clothes and shoes! SM: Okay, because that was a two-part question. (laughing) DP: They better pay me for this too. SM: Nike, call us. When you are looking for an outfit; this is kind of like a girl question. I know guys aren’t too big into shopping. DP: Yeah, yeah. SM: I wrote these questions (laughing) so I understand. But, do you have an outfit style that is your “go-to” for special occasions. DP: I wouldn’t say a particular style, it is really whatever I am feeling the night of. I’ll out something together, you know. Sometimes I have to check my instagram to seen if I have worn this recently or not. SM: That’s a good idea. (laughing) DP: Yeah, you know, wherever we’re at, whatever the occasion is I’ll whip up something. SM: Alright. That was kind of a simple question and I know guys, they hate shopping. DP: Some guys love it. SM: That was kind of leading into the next question. Is there a particular store you go to? Do you hate going to the mall? DP: You know what, I love going to the mall because you have a lot of options there. Do I have a particular store there? No. I’ll go to all of them. I will hit all of them up. The mall is the place to go and I will go from one place to the next, wherever it is. SM: Ok, so more for the style category questions. This is still style but it’s a little bit more manly. For your car, what is your dream car? DP: As a kid, I always liked Range Rovers for some reason. So I think my next car is probably going to have to be a range rover. I like Range Rovers. SM: Any particular color? DP: Black; black is my favorite color for everything. Black on black with dark tinted windows. SM: I like it. I am feeling that one. These questions have been a lot of two-parters. You answered it. What is your favorite color for that, so black on black! DP: Black’s my favorite color. My second favorite is probably white. Clean, you know, keep it clean. SM: Okay, you are probably too young for this question (laughing) I’m wondering if you ever rocked the 90’s hip hop fashion Cross Colours. DP: Ughh.. no… SM: (laughing) Have you ever heard of it? DP: Yeah! SM: Okay, now I don’t feel so old. DP: Just so you know, I was born in ’92. SM: That makes you 25? DP: You still look great. (laughing) That’s all that matters. SM: Thank you. Okay, so you never rocked Cross Colours. It’s all good. Last question in style. What is your favorite brand of sunglasses. DP: Man, again, I am like a simple person. SM: Do you wear sunglasses? DP: I do, I have a few. SM: Because a lot of people have that brand that they like. Like Raybans. DP: I like Raybans, but no particular brand. I probably have like two pairs of shades at home to be honest with you. SM: So you don’t lose them? DP: No, I never lose them. SM: Nice! DP: I take care of my stuff. (laughing) SM: So we are all done with the style questions. DP: Yes! SM: Thank you so much! I wanted to know all about your style. DP: I am about to jump in the mix right now at Power 106! SM: Uh oh, ok I will try and wrap it up really quick for you. Last category, life. How do you keep your DJ skills up? DP: I think everyone would say practice, but I am going to say, practice. (laughing) Honestly, just practice. SM: Do you think, it is like the old cliche. When you fin something you love to do, it’s not work. DP: Right, I love to do it. Wherever it is, in the club, in my house, on the radio. I have never looked at it as work so. And overtime I get on the turn tables, it’s like…practice man! A lot of practice. SM: Sweet. So not only do you DJ here at Power 106, but when you go home, you have a studio there? DP: Oh yeah, of course, at my house I have a set-up. I still have the same turn tables there that I have had since I was twelve. SM: Wow. DP: I still have all of the same equipment, the same speakers, everything. SM: Wow! And that’s what you use? DP: Yeah! That’s what I use today to make my mixes and everything. SM: Wow, that’s cool. DP: For a good eleven years. SM: So besides DJing, are there other skills that you have that you don’t get to use a lot. DP: Well, you know, if you catch me on the basketball court I might drop one on you. (laughing) First thing that comes to mind, is DJing. I’m not a pro basketball player. (laughing) I keep saying basketball. I love basketball though. Anything besides that, I am just an average person. Aside from that, just DJing. SM: So DJing is your life! DP: DJing is everything. Pretty much. It consumes all my time these days. I wouldn’t want people to think I am a probasketball player. (laughing) SM: Well I want to see you on the court. (laughing) Are you going to do [
