Choose from: YEAR Academic year programs allow you to absorb a new culture and learn a language through “whole language learning.” Programs may begin in winter or summer/fall. GAP YEAR Whether you’ve just graduated or deferred college admissions, you can use your gap year to gain a greater understanding of another culture. SEMESTER SUMMER Like year programs, semester programs allow you to be immersed in culture, language and heritage of your host country. Programs may begin in January or summer/fall. Summer programs are traditional homestay programs where you will learn how another culture lives and works. Summer programs range from three to eight weeks and most leave in mid-June. VOLUNTEER CLASSROOM EXCURSIONS Volunteer Programs allow you to experience a new culture and develop language skills while giving back and making an impact in the community. Go abroad as part of a classroom to gain real-world international experience “beyond the textbook.” INTERNSHIPS SPECIALTY ADULT STUDY TOURS Participate in an internship abroad to learn valuable professional skills while living with a host family.
