• Arrival in Manaus and check-in to the hotel
• AM : City tour
• PM : Visit to the Opera House
• AM : Departure to the city of Presidente Figueiredo
• PM : Hiking trip through the forest to Maroaga ’ s Refuge Cave ; enjoy a Folkloric show at the hotel
• AM : Visit the Sanctuary Waterfall
• PM : Depart back to Manaus on board the Amazon regional boats ; visit the Meeting of the Waters and ecological reserve ; Spend the night on the boat
• AM : Visit a local indigenous tribe and experience their life in the Amazon
• PM : Navigate the Rio Negro and go alligator spotting
• AM : Visit the Casa da Farinha to learn about the manufacturing of flour and tapioca
• PM : Navigate the lakes in the Acajatuba area and visit with locals to learn more about Amazon preservation ; participate in a social activity in the evening
• AM : Swim with pink dolphins ; Sail north of the Rio Negro river to view lakes and rivers inhabited by exotic wildlife
• PM : Participate in a discussion of the region
• AM : Navigate down the Rio Negro and relax on a river beach
• PM : Hiking trip through the jungle and learn how to make your own blow gun
• AM : Canoe through the flooded forest
• PM : Make indigenous crafts ; spend the night in the forest sleeping in hammocks
• AM : Learn about Amazon conservation through tree planting
• PM : Finish boating expedition and depart to Manaus
• Transfer to airport ; depart
• Return to the U . S .
