• AM : Arrival in Stockholm
• PM : Experience Swedish midsummer celebration ; accommodations in Stockholm at youth hostel
• AM : Stockholm Skansen Open Air Museum and the Historical Museum will provide insight into the history of Sweden and Swedish culture
• PM : Picnic in a park as the locals do ( with YFU alumni )
• Depart Stockholm for Vässarö
• AM : Vässarö team-building exercises and cross-cultural workshop
• PM : Evening with campfire
• Vässarö Sustainable development on an island and Trapper trail
• AM : Vässarö Sustainable development in the Baltic Sea and sailing
• PM : Evening on candle-lit trail
• Depart Vässarö for Ransberg . A full day of traveling on public transit

• Learn about sustainable development with renewable energy sources and canoeing
• Learn about sustainable development with renewable energy sources and visit a hydroelectric power plant in Munkfors
• Discussion on a modern Swede – How do we as a country face the challenges of today ?
• Meet with Swedish youth and immigrants
• AM : Visit to the city of Karlstad with study visits to the municipality and biomass-fueled combined heat and power plant
• PM : Evening dancing in a barn
• AM : Depart Ransberg for Oslo , Norway
• PM : Re-entry orientation session
• AM : Visit the Oslo Nobel Peace Prize Centre and city walk with local YFU volunteers
• PM : Farewell dinner
• Transfer to airport ; depart
• Return to the U . S .
