This Classroom Excursion offers an up-close look at Sweden ’ s newest innovative sustainability solutions that will impact our environment for generations . In the Agenda 2030 ( the new sustainability goals ) Sweden is a top ranking country . As a highly industrialized country , Sweden focuses on shifting its energy systems from high-carbon to low-carbon primary energy . With our partner Youth For Understanding Sweden , we have developed an excursion that blends an understanding of Swedish history and culture with an unparalleled opportunity to see a wide range of sustainable energy solutions in action - from hydroelectric to biomass .
