AYR CAMPUS HIGHLIGHTS
ANYTHINK
A talented team of creative
minds at Ayr Campus have
been showing the world what
they’re made of! Ayrshire
College students Kris Scott,
Steven Connelly, Brodie
Donohoe, Tom Reid, Stewart
Killen and Frazer Stobbs
(and non-student Peter
Litman) have been writing
articles, shooting videos,
broadcasting podcasts,
interviewing and reviewing
all sorts of things for their
media franchise AnyThink.
They cover News, Entertainment
and Productions. The exceptionally
talented lot have written, directed
and shot a couple of short films,
and have worked collaboratively to
provide coverage on international
and local news. You can read their
gig review for Vigo Thieves on
page 24.
“We’d love to see
more traffic
on our website
and YouTube channel
- so we’re working on
making more content of
an even higher
standard.”
We caught up with Kris, who had
this to say about AnyThink…
“Running the AnyThink network
is very time consuming and
sometimes stressful. However we
enjoy what we are doing and are
collectively determined to expand
our outreach. It’s fairly easy for
us to meet up as we’re all close
to each other (distance wise) - as
friends we find ourselves coming
to common agreements more
often than not. To get a story done
we’ll all get in a Skype group call
to research the subject matter that or we hold a meeting and
make phone calls/write emails.
Recently we interviewed YouTube
personality Jay Rainsley (whom
10
goes by the alias TrueMobster)
and sister of well known violinist
Lindsey Stirling, Jennifer Fletcher.
Right now we’re approaching
various other people about
interviews, and have been enjoying
a healthy flow of correspondence.
As well as AnyThink news, Kris
runs AnyThink Productions - the
title under which he produces his
short films/other theatrical works.
We’d love to see more traffic on
our website and YouTube channel
- so we’re working on making
more content of an even higher
standard.”
