KILWINNING CAMPUS HIGHLIGHTS BRICKLAYING STUDENTS ATTEND RE-OPENING OF BRIDGEGATE FIRST IN SCOTLAND TO ACHIEVE PDA CHILDHOOD PRACTICE Bricklaying students from Ayrshire College’s Nethermains Campus attended the official reopening of Bridgegate in Irvine town centre recently. The opening of the historic, A-listed Trinity Church took place as part of the transformation of Irvine’s Bridgegate, where the students used their skills by line-pointing part of the exterior walls of the church. COMPUTING GAMES COMPETITION Computing Development students recently took part in a Games Design Competition judged by Oracle UK Caroline Greenan, PDA Childhood Practice Student Ayrshire College students from the Kilwinning Campus are the first in Scotland to achieve the degree-equivalent Professional Development Award (PDA) in Childhood Practice.
