Fresher’s Fair was successful on
all campuses at the beginning
of September. Students enjoyed
freebies from a variety of different
companies and received important
information from services available
to them throughout the year.
There was also loads of fun photos
from the photo booth! We’ll have
more Fresher’s photos later in this
issue, so keep your eyes peeled for
you and your mates!

served tea/coffee/
cupcakes etc.

encouraged participation
and helped with set up
and Hair and Beauty
students offered hand
massage and nails
to the guests.
BLACK HISTORY MONTH
...takes place across October and is an annual observance in the United Kingdom
for remembrance of important people and events in the history of the black
community. We’ll be running a film club and a reading club during this time,
details to follow in this issue.
