BRIDGE 2 BUSINESS

The Bridge 2 Business programme is now running in Ayrshire College .
Bridge 2 Business promotes and aims to give students the opportunity to develop enterprise skills . It encourages students to start their own business by giving them the necessary tools and support .
Melissa Estima is the Programme Executive for Bridge 2 Business for Ayrshire College .
If you have an idea for a business or want to take on a project , but have no clue how to get started , this is where Melissa can help .

COLLEGE CREATES RECORD LABEL

A record label has been set up to give Ayrshire musicians an opportunity to record and release original music .
Sun Turtle Records has been created as part of the practical entrepreneurship unit of the HNC Sound Production course . A PR and Events company , High Tide PR , has also been launched to support new Ayrshire artists .
Shanna Hodge is an NC Sound Production student who is behind the debut upcoming single ‘ Survivors ’ using the artist name Shanna .
The single , which was played on BBC Radio Scotland on 9 May , will be released on limited edition 7 ” vinyl as well as across all digital platforms including iTunes .
Shanna said “ It ' s been great so far , it ' s exciting to be getting my music out there and to receive such positive feedback !”
