A TALENTED YOUNG AYRSHIRE BOXER WAS
NAMED COACH’S BOXER OF THE YEAR
AND BOXER’S BOXER OF THE YEAR AT THE
NORTHWEST AMATEUR BOXING CLUB’S
ANNUAL BOXING SHOW.
Harys Lowe, a Carpentry and Joinery student at the
College, found out he’d won the awards following a
second round knockout of his opponent at the Park
Hotel event.
Harys is ranked second in the UK for his weight
and age group, and has had tremendous
success recently with gold medals at the
Scottish Championships and Western District
Championships, and a silver medal at the Great
British Championships.
