“I chose Mary Berry’s simpler
recipe as the challenge from
Bake Off week 1 included a lot of
ingredients I didn’t own (dried
rose petals?!).
“The Mary Berry version was
easy to do and only took 45
minutes all-in, from mixing the
ingredients to baking in the oven.
The results were great and tasted
lovely according to the rest of the
Marketing Team!
“I won’t be winning star baker
any time soon but it was fun
to do on a rainy Sunday and an
excuse to eat cake!”
