Ayrshire College students and staff are no stranger to excellence . Just take a look at the awards that have been won lately !
Joinery Student is Apprentice of the Year
Congratulations to Stuart Queen , a joinery student who ’ s been time served with Character Joinery since April , for winning ‘ Apprentice of the Year ’ at the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Business Awards .
Stuart has been hugely successful throughout his time at Ayrshire College , and this award is another to add to his collection . and was named Ayr Guildry ’ s ‘ Apprentice of the Year ’ too .
Stuart also placed third in the 2015 WorldSkills UK National Finals - a competition that began with over 1,000 joiners taking part in regional heats .

He was named Student of the Year for Construction at the Ayr campus at last year ’ s graduation ceremony , received an Excellence Award this year ,
