London has to be one of the most costly
areas to live, let alone be a student.

Travel
The first thing you have to do if you’re a
student is get a hold of the 18+ Student
Oyster Card. This is one of the most
worthwhile things you can sign up for
as a student. A one-month travel card
for zones 1 – 2 using a standard adult
Oyster will cost you £116. As a student, it
costs around £80! Definitely worth going
for - you can use it on both buses and the
underground.
LONDON
Never hail a cab to head out or back on
a night out, nobody wants to pay that
premium price for a pointless scenic
route to your destination. Google 24-hour
private hire taxis close to you, and get to
where you’re going for a third of the price
and split it between your mates.
