The majority of people I know have had the pleasure of eating or at least heard of "Oreo balls" They are delicious and worth every single minute to make and every calorie to eat. But what about trying a different cookie? My mom came up with this idea the other day while we talking on the phone. She suggest "chocolate chip cookie balls" and they sounded so good, I had to try it! Now, you can, too!

Ingredients:

chocolate chip cookies (I used one giant bag of Ahoy! original (the blue ones ;) )

cream cheese (8 oz. Philadelphia)

chocolate (for coating) (Hershey's milk chocolate chips)

small bit of butter (about a two-dot lego)

1. Crush the cookies into crumbs.

2. Add the cream cheese, stirring and mixing it all in.

3. Form the mixture into balls (use a scooper, spoons, your hands, etc.)

4. Put them in the fridge to make them cold, but not frozen.

5. Melt the chocolate: Pour the bag of chocolate chips into a bowl with the butter and microwave in 30 second increments stirring in between. (It took me a minute and a half)

6. Coat the balls in the chocolate and let sit in the fridge to harden.

7. Enjoy every bite!
