I’m not saying to drop what you’re doing and just
leave the office. Work with your managers to find a
time that your absence will be minimally missed and
depending on where you’re going make sure you
have channels of communication in place so that you
can be contacted if necessary.
Whether it’s a few days at Hershey Park or 5 days at
sea, it’s ok to take a few days away. Your staff and
your clients will understand and your family will
appreciate the time spent with them. In fact, when
you come back refreshed and energized, your staff
will thank you for it!
