Oklahoma City’s own Andy Nelson drops the laundry in his 1998 Dodge Viper he refers
to as “Ol’ Blue”. Built by D3 Performance Engineering out of Houston, Texas, the secondgeneration Viper’s V10 is force-fed by twin 76mm fender well-mounted turbochargers,
pushing over 2,100-horsepower through a Rossler TH400 to a set of massive Mickey
Thompson drag radials. Nelson clicked off a series of 198mph passes during the Texas
Speed Syndicate’s infamous Texas Invitational his last time out with the car.
