Donate today online at www.wshs-dg.org Hearty Thanks! Alexandra of Joliet had a birthday and asked for donations for the shelter instead of gifts for her. She donated food, litter, toys and money. James and June had a lemonade stand and donated the proceeds of $23 to the shelter. James and June Girl Scout Troop 50890 CDM Construction Companies held numerous, one-day, safety conferences last year. In each of those conferences, participants were grouped and asked to “play” for a charity of cause. At the end of each conference, tallies were made and one group and its charity was declared a winner. WSHS was one of the recipients of a $25 donation. Whittier School Students, Sydney, Madelyn, Charlie & Michael did a service learning project and donated the proceeds of $369 to the shelter. Girl Scout Troop #50890 made blankets and donated them to the shelter. Brooke Zoe, Brooke and Grant did artwork, sold it and donated the proceeds of $16.14 to the shelter. The employees at LaForce in Willowbrook held a cleaning supply drive and donated them to the shelter. Grant The employees at IDEXX in Elmhurst held a food and supply drive and donated tons of both to the shelter. Kelly Manteck, owner of KAMera Chicago Photograhy participated in the Elmhurst Art Show in Wilder Park and donated some of the proceeds from the artwork she sold to the shelter. IDEXX The 5th Grade Class of the Religious School of Congregation Etz Chaim made a donation of $67.61 to the shelter. Emily Lang and Maggie Stanley had a lemonade stand and raised $80. They took the money they donated and purchase food and litter for the animals at the shelter. Emily and Maggie Student Council members at Hillcrest Elementary donated supplies and $81.90. Ava Allington had a birthday and asked for donations for the shelter instead of gifts for her. She donated lots of food and supplies. Ava and her friends also made blankets for the animals. Ava Allington Bold Insight in Oak Brook had and event and raised $300 for the shelter. Altar’d State in Oak Brook held an event for the shelter. They raised and donated $3,219.09.
