I’m energetic and love to walk and play. After my exercise, I love to snuggle up with my favorite person! I’m good with other dogs when I’m on walks but prefer to be the queen of my castle at home. No other pets, please! I’ve gone through both basic and advanced obedience training. I’m nervous around small children and need to live in an adult only home. I also have anxiety around things that move; bikes, strollers, skateboards, etc. With training I have come a long way but I will need a calm, patient owner who will be willing to work with me to help me overcome my fear and anxiety. Can you be the person to help me be all that I can be? Sam Male | 1 year old | Siberian Husky/German Shepherd Mix Hi, I’m Sam and I’m a happy, friendly, playful guy! I came from an animal rescue in Indiana and I just love everyone I meet! I would do best with kids 14 years or older because I need training. I’m currently enrolled in obedience training and if I still have classes remaining when I’m adopted, they’ll be included as part of my adoption fee! I’m a little too excited about cats so I shouldn’t live with one. I love dogs and would do great living with a friend. I also really love sitting with people, being petted and brushed. I have a moderate to high amount of energy, so I need a family that will walk or run with me daily. It would also be best if my forever family has breed knowledge about huskies and previous dog experience. I can’t live in an apartment, condo or townhome because of my energy level and I have that “husky howl.” If you’re an active family looking for an energetic dog, then I’m the guy for you! Brigid Female | 8 years old | Tri-color Tabby Hi, I’m Brigid. I’m such a gentle soul that it’s hard for me to be myself around here. I’m living in the director’s office because the vet thinks I should be away from a lot of litter dust. When I came here, I had a cold, which cleared up, but the vet thinks I may have asthma. I haven’t been sick at all since then. When it gets quiet here at the shelter, which is not often, I come looking for attention, so if you have a quiet home where any cats or dogs are super chill and won’t get in my face, I might be the cat for you! Desiree Female | 2.6 years old | Buff Tabby Hi, I’m Desiree. You can probably tell by my face that I don’t like it here. My ideal home is one where i can look out a sunny window and smell the breeze. I love to watch birds. I can be very playful but here at the shelter I’m too nervous with all these other animals around. A buff tabby female is kind of rare, or so they tell me. If your home is a good fit for me with no other animals and older, if any, kids, I beg you to come take me away from here. I’ll be a totally different cat at home! 3
