Donate today online at www.wshs-dg.org Hearty Thanks! Haley Tanya Megan PLZ Aeroscience employees collected donations for the humane society during a National Puppy Day fundraiser that they hosted. If an employee donated an item from our wish list, they received a raffle ticket to put in one of two baskets. The winner received $25 and generously donated that to the shelter. The employees donated tons of food and supplies and $150. The Illinois Credit Union System holds a monthly jeans day in which their employees make a donation to a specific charity and then wear jeans to work for that day. For the month of April, they selected WSHS to be the recipient of the money they collected. They donated $327. The Unitarian Church of Hinsdale donated food, supplies and $50. Alexa Hansen made dog toys, sold them and gave the money to the shelter. She raised $100! Nina Congregation Etz Chaim Rationall donated jerky treats for the dogs at the shelter. Haley Cerny of Downers Grove had a birthday and asked for donations for the shelter instead of gifts for her. She donated dog food, trash bags, soap, bowls, toys and treats. Tanya of Glen Ellyn turned 7 and asked for donations for the shelter instead of gifts for her. She donated food and supplies. Lemonade & cookies The 5th grade class at Congregation Etz Chaim collected food and supply donations for the shelter. The employees of NSA Media helped unload and set up plants for our plant sale. They also donated food, supplies and $130! Sloane Kumskis, Bear Kumskis, Scout Haemker, Reese Haemker, Lu McGrath and Mary McGrath raised money for the shelter by selling lemonade and cookies. Gentle Learning Preschool did a spring service project. They raised $431 and donated it to the shelter. The Culture Council at JP Morgan/Chase in Downers Grove donated supplies to the shelter. The students in the SASED Multi-Needs program at Willowbrook High School and Westmont High School participated in a fundraiser by making and selling homemade dog treats. They made $120 and donated it to the shelter. The Hope Club at Pierce Downer School in Downers Grove had a Fun Fair and donated the proceeds of $515 to the shelter. Weichert Workforce Mobility employees in Downers Grove had a St. Patrick’s Day Emma and Kaetlyn had a bake sale and donated celebration and collected donations for the shelter. They donated food, supplies at $541! the proceeds of $21 to the shelter. Dick Pond Athletics in Lisle held a “Love Pets” week for Valentine’s Day to raise awareness and funds for the shelter. They collected food and supplies and donated them to the shelter. First American Title Insurance Company employees had a penny war. The winner got to donate the money to their favorite charity. We were that charity and we received $865.68! The Direct Action Club from Downers North High School donated the money from the sales of candy grams to the shelter. They donated $230! Eva Stafford of Darien had a birthday and asked for donations for the shelter instead of gifts for her. She donated food, supplies and stamps. Gentle Learning The Hope Club Fran donated the money she raised from a bake sale to the animals at the shelter. Nina Meidinger of Elmhurst had a birthday and asked for donations for the shelter instead of gifts for her. She donated food and toys. Eva 7 Eric and Ian Durbin of Riverside had birthdays and asked for donations for the shelter instead of gifts for them. They donated food and toys. State Farm of Westmont donated the money they raised at the Westmont Pet Promenade. They donated $96.
