I had this floating mirror concept in the
woods, I thought it would look haunting but it
ended up not working out. I climbing this
mossy crag where a gentle waterfall/creek
babbled nearby. It was raining & I ended up
cutting my hands pretty bad on the broken
mirror. I was also at the time reading the Tao
of Pooh & a quote kind of popped out at me
"... the taoist ideal is that of the still, calm
reflecting 'mirror mind'…" which further
influenced this concept. (The Tao of Pooh,
