the University of Bergen, Norway.
Dr. Gabriela Băncescu is a member of the board of the European Society of
Chemotherapy - Infectious Diseases (ESC-ID) and a member of: the European
Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), the
Romanian Society for Microbiology (SRM) and of the ESCMID Study Group for
Anaerobic Infections (ESGAI). Dr. Gabriela Băncescu was the Secretary General
of the Romanian Society of Laboratory Medicine (SRML) between 2009 - 2014
and is a member of the editorial board of the Romanian Archives of Microbiology and
Immunology and an Associate Editor of the Romanian Journal of Rhinology.
