Hamid Reza Pakshir is a full professor at the School of Dentistry, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (Shiraz,
Iran) and the founder and director of the Department of Orthodontics, and head of the Orthodontic Research
Center. He has numerous publications, including the publication of articles in national and international
journals and compilation of books in the field of orthodontics. Since 2004, he has been elected to the
Editorial Review Board of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics magazine, and
since has judged over 50 articles for this journal. Since 2014, he has been the Editor-in-Chief of the Iranian
Journal of Medical Sciences (IJMS), Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Shiraz Journal of Dentistry, and a member of
the editorial board of several Iranian scientific magazines registered at PubMed.
