What is the biggest challenge that faces you right now as an actress? There aren’t enough good roles for strong women. I wish we had more female writers. Most of the female characters you see in films today are 'the poor heartbroken girl.' That’s why I’m so proud of the Fast movies. I feel like Giselle is an empowering woman. I think I speak for the majority of female actors when I say we need stronger roles. My biggest challenge is to find more strong parts. When you were cast in Fast & Furious, did you have any hesitation or fears about appearing in a huge action film? No, I enjoy the thrill. It’s not a Woody Allen movie but every film has its own adventures. The biggest adventure in the Fast movies for me is I can be a strong woman and show it in the stunt work I get to do. Were you a fan of action movies before you were cast in the Fast franchise? Yeah, I liked the Tomb Raider movies. I wasn’t hardcore about action movies, but I enjoyed some of them before being a part of these movies. Fast Five was extremely well received. Was there a tremendous amount of pressure put on the cast and crew to top it with Fast & Furious 6? When we released the fifth one, the feedback was so good and it did so well at the box office. When I was called to do the sixth film, I was thinking to myself... 'we set the bar so high with five; how can we possibly top it with the sixth?' I really believe we topped it with Fast & Furious 6. I think it’s going to be huge; it’s going to be like no other Fast movie. Did you have a passion for cars prior to appearing in these films? I didn’t before the Fast movies, but now I do. I’m really into cars now. What kind of a driver are you? I like the thrill of driving fast but I do take into consideration my safety and the other drivers’ safety...so I abide by the law. Do you have a lot in common with Giselle? We have a lot in common. Every role I do, I bring a lot of myself to it. So we have a lot in common in that sense. Have you learned anything about yourself by portraying Giselle? I haven’t learned anything new...but I realize to have positive results with anything you have to give all of yourself. We have such a huge cast and everyone gives 1000%. I think the results have been amazing because of that. When I go to work it’s important for me to give 1000%. How many more Fast movies do you think you will make? I don’t know. It depends on the scripts and the people involved. Do you think these films have changed the way people perceive you? Are you less a model now and more of an action heroine? I do a variety of things. I’ve done comedy with the film Date Night. In Israel I have done dramatic work. That’s probably a question for the audience...but...I don’t think they see me as only an action star.
