The Fast and the Furious films have undeniably gotten better with each new installment. It’s rare for an action franchise to improve with age, but somehow these films have beaten the odds. It may not be a coincidence that the car saga started really getting good when actress/ model Gal Gadot joined the series. She linked up to the Fast world when she portrayed Giselle in Fast & Furious, the fourth film released in the series. Definitely more of an actress…much, much more an actress. I enjoy both, but I feel more satisfaction when I’m acting. I can give more of myself with acting. Have you been able to take things from your modeling career and apply them to your acting career? I think that modeling has a lot to do with acting. A model can’t just have a blank face. You have to act with your eyes and spirit. There is an energy you must play with. Modeling has definitely helped my performances. Was it hard at first to convince people you were serious about transitioning to acting? No, I don’t think so. Maybe people felt awkward at first seeing me on screen, but I never had any bad feedback. Everyone was very supportive. Resized 9.00004 by 11.0 to 9.0 by 10.875 and Adjusted to 98.8% Vertical and 100% Horizontal 117_TSM_Issue4_Full.indd 34 8/5/13 9:44 AM
