NO To say that having Cassie Scerbo as a part of your existence will help you achieve the Good Life is an understatement of truly epic proportions. She is the embodiment of everything this section of the magazine stands for—the very, very best life has to offer. The sexy actress has been consistently working in Hollywood since the year 2005. She has recently received a lot of notice and buzz for her role in the new cult film sensation, Sharknado. It’s hard to stand out in a film about killer sharks that take over Los Angeles after a freak tornado, but amazingly Cassie is what most guys were talking about after Sharknado premiered on the Syfy network. The overwhelming response she has received because of the campy shark film has truly surprised her. “I never saw this coming. I'm still waiting for someone to wake me up. That's what is great about Hollywood, you never know what's going to hit. It keeps you on your toes,” Cassie says with gratitude. Despite her new fame being unexpected, she definitely knew taking a part in Sharknado was something she could not pass up. “I'm a tomboy at heart, so this was a dream come true. Sharks, guns, blood and natural disaster? I couldn't say no. I also love taking on extremely different roles; this was my chance to completely step out of the box—my Lara Croft moment! I'd love to start doing more action films. We obviously knew it was a campy movie and not an Oscar-worthy flick, but that's why America is having so much fun with it!” We spoke with the white-hot actress about her spending habits, dream ride and what she enjoys filling up on. How would you describe your life as an actress? Around the world, many have seen me as a young, ABC Family actress. Before Sharknado came along, I played a slew of bubbly, mean girl type blondes. My hope is to play a variety of characters. I love my craft, and hope to surprise people with the roles I take on in the future. What is the most money you have ever spent on a single item or thing? I bought one of my ex-boyfriend's a piano for Christmas. Besides my car and living space, I'd say that was one of the most expensive things. Dang, that was an expensive Christmas [laughing]! The most expensive thing I've bought myself was probably my Valentino bag. Do you have a dream car? I love all kinds of cars. Growing up, my father owned auto body shops, so cars have always been exciting to me. I really love the Mercedes G-Wagon though; I'm thinking of making that my next ride! I love SUVs. I think it's cool when a small chick drives a big, bad ass SUV! STA L GIA “Sharks, guns, blood and natural disaster? I couldn't say no. I also love taking on extremely different roles; this was my chance to completely step out of the box—my Lara Croft moment!” What is your favorite kind of food? Italian! It's my full nationality, so I grew up having Sunday feasts every week and what not. My grandmother’s and mother's cooking is the best in the world in my opinion. Do you waste a lot of money on unnecessary things? You only live once, so as long as I'm having fun or able to treat my family and friends, I don't consider it a waste. Although, I must admit, being a girl I've splurged on plenty of unnecessary items. My best friend, Brittney, yells at me often for this! Will you be a part of Sharknado 2? Yes!
