Steel Notes Magazine Finally, it was time for Bruce Lev to perform his song “20th Century Man.” I have to say that Bruce Lev rocked the stage. Performing at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, in Nashville TN was an amazing experience. The center is outstandingly beautiful. It was an honor to perform, where a lot of mainstream artists have performed. (Photo by "Seay" (Delgado) and/or her husband Jules Delgado: Bruce Lev Live during the Josie Award Event) The 2016 Josie Music Awards lasted until midnight. It was a long show, but well worth it. It was great to be in a room with so many independent artists. I thank Josie and Tina Passantino for spending the time, money, and effort in this endeavor. They have given us a voice. They believe in us and we will continue to do our dreams, because of their belief in our work. Next year, I’ve been told, will be even bigger. They are in talks with several huge venues. They are also thinking about making it a three day event. More networking, more singing, more learning, etc… I can’t wait for 2017!! In 2017 they will make this a long weekend of various events ending with the 3rd Annual Josie Music Awards. By doing this they will be able to shorten the award show event as they will no longer be trying to squeeze everything into one night. This will also open up more performance opportunities along with many fun and informative events throughout the weekend. 52 Steel Notes Magazine www.steelnotesmagazine.com October 2016
