MY B-DAY
Giddiness and joy
Though showing more wrinkles and gray
Glad for my crimson-carmine ‘do
Thank you Ultress and Redken
Don’t care about the marks on my face
Each one I’ve earned so well
Whether in utter joy or fraught
I’m another healthy year
Won’t tell you my sum
But it rhymes with
Made from heaven
The scale may show higher digits
I’m really sad about that
But that is fixable and do-able
My horrid past was too
So I’ll focus on all I have and all I’ve created
And lament less and less for my losses
Still learning to let go
I am thankful for the adventures
And my partner rocks hell too
I couldn’t have imagined all I’ve been
Or where I’m presently going to be

Burbujas y alegría
Aun mostrando más arrugas y gris
Contenta por mi carmesí carmín peina’o
Gracias Ultress y Redken
No me preocupan las marcas en mi cara
Cada uno me lo he ganado muy bien
Ya sea en la alegría absoluta o cargada
Cumplo un año más sana
No te dirá mi suma
Pero rima con
Hecho del cielo
La escala puede mostrar cifras más altas
Estoy muy triste por eso
Pero eso se puede arreglar y volver a hacer
Mi pasado horrible tambien
Así que me centraré en todo lo que tengo y todo lo
que he creado
Y lamentare cada vez menos por mis pérdidas
Todavía aprendiendo a dejar que las cosas pasen
Estoy agradecida por las aventuras
Y mi pareja es un rockero del demonio
No podría haber imaginado todo lo que he sido
