Wade was very intentional about incorporating content and educating the students on who Jason was . A lot of his 8th grade students loved the original power rangers and that ’ s one of the reasons why he did this lesson . Jason volunteered to come to the school and originally had no prior knowledge of RCA . Every component of this lesson was funded directly from Hope and Wade . RCA does not fund their transformations . They taught like this prior to RCA and continue to teach this way now .
Obviously , you don ’ t need to have one of the original Power Rangers come to your school to make this challenge successful . The idea is to engage and inspire your students . Consider what is exciting to students and use that to intentionally connect and teach content is all areas . The results are POWERful !
