Our Management Model
The model, which is called the ‘Toolbox”, conveys our corporate culture and creates a
shared platform, which ensures that the Securitas’ core values, work methods
and management philosophy are shared throughout the company.
Securitas’ Toolbox management model has a methodical structure comprising several well
defined areas or ‘Tools” that provide guidance for the company’s managers.
Each area of the model describes how Securitas’ managers are to conduct themselves in
various aspects and stages of the company’s operations. The model also describes
the approach we are all expected to take with regard to the security market, our
customers and our employees.
The Toolbox offers practical support for managers and staff by acting as a guide at all levels
and is maintained through continuous training and discussion forums.
A key function of the Toolbox is to convey our corporate culture and create a shared
platform, which is primarily symbolized by a focus on Securitas’ core values: Integrity,
Vigilance and Helpfulness.
In this edition of Stay Ahead with Securitas Ireland we will introduce the first 3 tools to
you: Our Values, Our Market and the Value Chain.
Our Values Integrity
Our values are the foundation of our operations and the
corporate culture is built on values that help to shape a
longterm, financially successful enterprise by creating
value for customers, employees and shareholders. They
are
summarized in three words: Integrity, Vigilance and
Helpfulness. A Securitas employee is honest and therefore trusted to
work unsupervised on the customer’s premises and with
valuables. Securitas never compromises in its demand
for integrity. Integrity also includes openly expressing
one’s opinion, reporting improprieties and not withhold-
ing information.
The main purpose of our corporate culture is to devel-
op competent, specialized employees and qualified
professionals, whose role is to make society safer for
everyone. Securitas’ success is ultimately measured by
the trust we earn in our communities.
