Hi, I’m Sophie, a Securitas
Protective Services Officer. It’s
women and men like me who
protect your business to keep your
people, premises and assets safe.
“Is that another description for
‘security guard’?” I hear you ask?
Well, it’s about as far as you can
get from many people’s idea of a
security guard.

For a start, I’ve been through
the Securitas Learning &
Development Academy,
where there’s a competency
based approach focused on
performance development, rather
than performance management.
The PSO course is City & Guilds
accredited, as is the Academy
itself. So I completely get the
importance of my contribution to
the overall picture, learning life
skills that not only protect people
at work, but come in handy off-
duty too.

me smart, responsive and proactive,
adding real value and most importantly,
proud to work for your business as well
as Securitas.
