The exhibition will then closes with Amalia Pica's artistic search, really a leading artist of the emerging Argentine scene. Using a wide range of mediums - drawing, sculpture, performance, photography and video - the artist focuses on the limits and the various branches of language, emphasizing the value of communication as a fundamental collective experience. Her works are a visual metaphor of a marked hypertrophy of the busines communication, a widespread phenomenon that more and more frequently leads to misunderstanding and alienation, instead of sharing. Inspired by some transmission technologies of the past, mixed with references of adolescence, Amalia Pica surprises with interventions from light entertainment aspect, inviting the same guests to interact each other, experiencing different and ironic possibility of dialogue.

The exhibition, organized by the UDI Biennale Donna Committee (composed of G. Lola Bonora, Anna Maria Fioravanti Baraldi, Silvia Cirelli, Anna Quarzi, Ansalda Siroli, Dida Spano, Antonia Trasforini, Liviana Zagagnoni) and the Modern and Contemporary Art Galleries, is curated by Lola G. Bonora and Silvia Cirelli, and is supported by the Municipality of Ferrara and the Emilia-Romagna Region.
