Pornography: from a life of struggle to a life of freedom
Wednesday 5th July • Rich Alldritt
Ever tried to help someone enslaved by pornography? Ever struggled with this issue personally?
Pornography is an issue affecting an increasing number of both Christian men and women, but at
the same time continues to be a taboo topic among many believers. This is a subject we need to
talk about, and the upcoming Central Teaching Meeting is an attempt to start the conversation.
We'll be thinking about the liberating and satisfying view of sex found in the gospel, and how Jesus
provides abundant hope of freedom no matter how intense or long-standing the struggle.
Beginning and end of life issues
Wednesday 12th July • Prof. John Wyatt
John Wyatt (Professor of Ethics and Perinatology at UCL) will be coming to speak to us about some
of the realities and challenges of beginning and end of life issues within our society today. We will
be looking at how we can respond Biblically, with opportunities for questions and discussion.
