Foreword from the Minister of Education, National Reconciliation and Ecclesiastical Affairs - Hon. St. Clair Prince
The Ministry of Education, National Reconciliation and Ecclesiastical Affairs continues to produce its annual Education Statistical Digest so that our various stakeholders have a rich source of educational data to use for research and other purposes. The 2015-2016 Education Statistical Digest captures data on the education sector in St. Vincent and the Grenadines from the pre-primary level to the tertiary level. Despite the many challenges, the education system continues to see improvements in the performance of our students at all levels.
As Minister of Education, National Reconciliation and Ecclesiastical Affairs, I am elated that we are able to once again produce our annual Education Statistical Digest that contains pertinent statistical data on the education system in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. It is our hope that stakeholders will find the information useful as they peruse this publication. We welcome your comments and suggestions on how we can improve future publications.
Finally, I commend all of the persons who contributed to this edition of the digest. Special thanks to the principals and teachers of the various schools who supplied most of the data to facilitate the process. Your invaluable contribution is much appreciated.
