21st Century Teaching & Learning
This year students and teachers continued learning about how to use and incorporate technology into their teaching and learning. A Student Digital Leader Programme was introduced under the guidance of Ms. McMullen this year.
We also celebrated our second annual Tech Week from 13th – 17th May. This was organised by teachers Ms. McMullen, Ms. Kelly and the JCSP Librarian, Hilary Cantwell. It was a jam packed week of activities which included, Maths and Science interactive quizzes, Music composition through technology using the app GarageBand, a trip to Amazon Web Services culminating with a Presentations from Technology leaders Elaine Fennelly and Barry Downes and a Lego workshop facilitated by Learnit Cork.
