New Rector for Holy Cross
St Margaret’s was pleased to learn of the appointment of Rev Tim
Watson as the new Rector of our sister parish, Holy Cross Anglican.
We look forward to meeting Tim and his family and to getting to know
them all.
On his Twitter account on 1 October, Tim wrote:
“Happy to announce that I've just been appointed Rector of the Parish
of Holy Cross, Hackett, in Canberra, Australia. We'll move before
Christmas, & I start the new role in January 2019. It's an exciting move,
and a step of faith – we're looking forward to the adventure!”
Tim Watson’s induction service will take place on Saturday 19 January
2019 at 2 PM and the joint Holy Cross St Margaret’s choir will be sing-
ing. All are welcome and it would be good to see plenty of
St Margaret’s folk attending.
