Date: Saturday 7 April 2018 Time: 9.30am for morning tea (The program for the day will conclude by mid afternoon) Guest Speaker: Rev Noreen Towers Theme: ‘This is My Story’. Nobody can tell your story better than you. Our guest speaker is quite possibly well known to many people. Noreen trained as a Methodist Deaconess with her first appointment at Liverpool in 1963-64. Then followed forty years in ministry to homeless people at Wesley Mission. The book, No Fixed Address written by Margaret Ree- son documents this story. Noreen was then minister to seven congrega- tions in the Orange parish from 2005-13 and retired in 2014 after com- pleting fifty one years in full time active ministry. She is the recipient of a Churchill Fellowship (1979) and an OAM (2004), served on the Board of Mission for twenty five years and now collates the Powerful Moments booklets that are distributed locally, in NSW and Australia and in twelve overseas countries. Noreen is the Chairperson of the NSW/ACT Synod UCAF Committee. Please join us for this time of Fellowship together, as we make new and renew old friendships. Bring your friends – women and men. All are welcome – you do not need to be a member of a formal Fellowship Group to come along. Morning and afternoon tea is provided. As is our custom, please bring your own lunch.
