About the Wongamarr / Wungamaa Lectures
Over the past 10 years the Lectures have celebrated the Ministry of Pastor Cec Grant ( Wungamaa ) and his wife Laurel . Fifty of their 52 years of marriage was spent in service to the Lord , they worked tirelessly in their local churches and on national and international projects .
To date the Lecture has focused on the work of Pastor Cec Grant , Wungamaa . On this night his wife Laurel will be honoured who faithfully shared the ministry with him . Pastor Cec often said " if it wasn ' t for the women missionaries who came to the Missions and dirt floor humpies on the fringes of mainstream towns , we may not be where we are today ."
