This year all Members and friends of the Uniting Church in the Synod of
NSW and the ACT are invited to participate in a series of conversations
that will help to shape the strategic direction of the Uniting Church into
the next ten years. The conversations may have several outcomes but
should:

Support Congregations currently or needing to revisit their own
Mission Plan
Influence the focus and vision for the Canberra Region Presbytery
Contribute to development of a new Synod Strategic Plan.
We were invited to participate in two conversations where we would/will
be able to share our passion for the church and offer our wisdom on
ways we can work together as we live out the mission of God in our
communities. As the conversations will continue from the first to the
second, it is ideal that the same people attend both days.
St Margaret’s hosted the first of these sessions for the inner North on 1
July, and will again host the second session on 5 August. The photos on
these pages were taken during the first session.
