People of all ages from Queanbeyan, Canberra and surrounding areas are warmly invited to the 2015 World Day of Prayer Service at 7 pm on Friday 6 March 2015. Give Us a Sign asks churches and Christian organisations with changeable street signs to display specific messages on Tuesdays in Lent to promote a more compassionate society. The idea is to look at www.giveusasign.org and choose a sign for each week of Lent from suggested messages, then display that message on Tuesdays during Lent, take a photo and share it on the giveusasign Facebook page and Twitter. At Queanbeyan Uniting Church, corner Rutledge and Crawford Streets, Queanbeyan. The World Day of Prayer is a global ecumenical movement which brings Christians of many traditions together to observe a common day of prayer each year.
