St Margaret’s Uniting Church Hackett is an inclusive, welcoming
and caring Christian community which highly values engagement
with the wider inner north community of Canberra.
Barbara Burns outside Watson shops on Homeless Day, collecting groceries
and creating awareness of the issues of homelessness. The stand was
arranged by the combined Holy Cross and St Margaret’s Social Justice and
Environment Committee. The goods were provided to Tuckerbox for distri-
bution to needy families who have nothing to spend purchasing food.
