Murray Darling Basin Tour
The Uniting Church Murray Darling Basin (UCA MDB) Group consists of a
diversity of people from across the Uniting Church, including scientists,
farmers, environmentalists, theologians, pastors, educators and others from
various parts of the NSW/ACT Synod. The group has arisen out of the
Moderator’s MDB consultations and at the present time exists for the
purpose of organising a series of Murray Darling Basin Tours and the Faith
in a Basin Future project. The group has connections to the formal
structures of the church through representatives from the Riverina
Presbytery, Canberra Region Presbytery, Uniting, Uniting Earth Ministry,
Rural Ministry Unit and Synod Standing Committee as well as through the
Moderator and/or Moderator Elect who participate in the group.
Early bird registration rate for the next tour closes soon.
