and make our “Morning Tea” a great success.
By doing so you will be raising funds for Cancer Research.
With 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with Cancer by age 85,
most of us will be impacted by cancer in our lifetime
It will be a fun afternoon where you will be treated to a delicious lunch,
Raffle, Entertainment and Trading Table where you can purchase your
favourite jams, relish, chutney, potted plants, succulents, orchids and
novels etc.
Admission is $15.
Additional donations for the ACT Cancer Council
will be greatly appreciated.
This year we celebrate the 25th Anniversary
of Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
Since it began in 1994, generous supporters like you
have raised $192 million to support the 1.1 million Australians
either living with Cancer or who have survived a diagnosis.
These funds have helped achieve significant improvements in
Cancer prevention, screening and treatment over the past 25 years.
Thanks to you, each year around 46,000 people affected by Cancer
are helped by an experienced health professional through the Cancer
Council. These caring individuals provide informed advice and connect
people to services like free wigs, free financial advice
and cancer support groups.
This is just a small snapshot of the big impact you are helping to make
