Larsson & Scheuritzel P.C. is a boutique law firm with a focus on commercial real estate,
commercial litigations and corporate/business law. The founders, Dave Larsson and Paul
Scheuritzel, have been working together for over two decades, and about 15 years ago they
founded the firm. “We’ve been steadily bringing in a new generation of attorneys and other
valued employees ever since.”
The firm is known for its collegial atmosphere. Their attorneys, many of whom came from
“big law“, work on sophisticated deals for clients that they treasure. With Dave’s wife, Anne,
and daughter, Elizabeth also working there, the firm values every client and employee as a
member of the firm family. Clients include some of the largest companies in the world as well
as established regional leaders and new businesses getting their start. “We frequently hear,
‘You’re the friendliest lawyers I’ve ever met.”
What are some connections to Sweden?
“In the 1880s, Dave’s ancestors helped found New Sweden, Maine, where they were potato
farmers and also ran a general store that stayed in the family for over a century. Paul’s
grandmother was born in Torhamn, Sweden, though she stopped speaking the language when
she came to the U.S.”
In 2015, Larsson & Scheuritzel P.C. joined SACC-Philadelphia. “We were
happy to reengage with Swedish culture when we joined SACC.” The
firm and their employees are active members and attend many of the
Chamber’s events. The employees at the firm have SACC-Philadelphia’s
previous interns to thank for all the fika breaks the firm has incorporated
into the days at the office.

A fika is Swedish and means “to have coffee accompanied with pastries or cookies”, though
the firm often substitutes with fruit.
What are the benefits of being a member of SACC-Philadelphia?
“It’s always fascinating to learn about Swedish companies doing great work here in the U.S. At
the Glögg Holiday Business Mixer in December, for example, we were so impressed to hear from
Mike Feenan about Essity’s accomplishments when he accepted the Business Entrepreneurial
Award. Scandinavian approaches to design, sustainability, and social responsibility truly align
with our values, and we feel they have so much to offer the rest of the world.“
Larsson & Scheuritzel P.C. employees were some of the attendees at SACC-Philadelphia’s
business seminar about GDPR in June. The firm has been committed to compliance with the
EU’s updated law on General Data Protection Regulation. “We take the GDPR very seriously
and have put appropriate safeguards and procedures in place.”
