Beatrice von Schilcher, Marketing Manager
Beatrice has held the position as Marketing Manager from the beginning of January
2017 until the beginning of July. During her time at SACC- Philadelphia her duties have
been to organize events, promoting the chamber, maintain the website and writing the
monthly newsletter.
This internship has broadened her knowledge in American business culture and im-
proved her understanding of marketing and communication. Furthermore, the intern-
ship has been a great compliment to her bachelor of science in business administration
and marketing.
Beatrice thinks that Philadelphia is a wonderful city, perfectly located between New
York and Washington DC with a lot of history, Swedish influences and nice people. She is
certain that this internship will be of great value in her future in marketing.
Teele Rossi, Financial Manager
Teele has held the position as Financial Manager during the spring 2017. Her responsibilities
have included budgeting, accounting, financial reporting as well as treasury planning.
She has also worked with memberships, preparing board meetings and helped with
organizing events.
Teele has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations. Through this
internship she has been able to apply her theoretical knowledge to running a non-profit
organization, which has been great learning experience. The internship has given her
valuable experience of business development and working with international trade.
Teele has greatly enjoyed her stay in Philadelphia with its amazing restaurants and
cultural activities. She also enjoyed traveling the East Coast. After the internship Teele
hopes to continue international career within economics and international relations
while using the skills that she has learned through her experience in the U.S.
